John Paul II has been quoted in saying "Marriage is the most mortifying of all vocations!" After reading this quote, it is very clear that John Paul II, was very aware that marriage is incredibly difficult, and yet very beautiful-as seen in his writings Theology of the Body. I, myself have recently become engaged and have also become more aware of the reality of John Paul II's quote. The more my fiance and I have been preparing for this beautiful sacrament, the reality of the sacrifices and self-denial marriage takes is pretty astounding. During this preparation process, I have come across some fantastic resources to help prepare, restore, and heal marriages. One great resources is a website that the USCCB put together to support and strengthen marriages: www.foryourmarriage.org. This website offers daily tips to strengthen your marriages, resources for working through difficulties, and much much more! |

Hey everyone! Well I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas and that you all brought in the new year as we leave the last decade with big smiles, big hopes, and beautiful expectations!
Things have been slow around here lately withe the Holidays but we're gonna start picking it up as LifeTeen, Edge, & Roc get underway! The first LifeNight of the new year will be on the 10th. Roc & Edge will start the 13th. Â As the Holiday season begins to wind down a little bit why don't you come on in and tell us about your Christmas & New Years! Â Lamentations 3:22-24
The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction.
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself,
